Sports Statistical Official Job Description

For a sports game to take place there needs to be either two, three or four table officials. Tech officials are located near the sideline at the center of the court and are responsible for keeping control of the game clock, shot clock, points scored, fouls committed and much more. They work together with the referees and the statisticians to ensure the fairness and accuracy of the game.

Sports Statistical Official Responsibilities

• Model the NSL core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility

• Communicate with participants regarding changes to schedule, rain delay, or any team related changes or updates.

• Ensure the proper maintenance and safety of related program equipment.

• Maintain positive relationships with NSL staff, members, and volunteers.

• Maintain positive relationships with game officials.
